Originally from Pittsburg, PA, Jackie moved to Florida in 2011 in order to achieve sobriety. On January 14, 2012, Jackie reached her goal of recovery. She has now shifted her focus to helping others recover by sharing her personal experiences involving addiction and keeping herself up to date with industry practices. As one of Daylight Recovery Center’s Case Managers, Jackie is Certified in both Addiction Studies and in Human Services. She is also Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) Certified. Jackie finds her work at the center extremely gratifying stating, “The most rewarding part of my job is watching people come in broken and see them transform into productive and happy members of society. It’s wonderful to give them hope that recovery is possible because I’m living proof.” A true team player, Jackie fondly recalls helping the Daylight Family evacuate to Mississippi for 2 weeks when Hurricane Irma hit our shores. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys spending time with her wife, stepdaughter and five dogs. In addition to attending NA meetings, Jackie has a sponsor, and is an active member of the recovery community.
