A spiritual program coupled with recovery fellowships can strengthen one’s success in recovery.

Humans have long looked to faith for strength and support, particularly in difficult times. Sometimes, individuals lose their connection with their higher power, turning to drugs and alcohol as a coping mechanism. Spiritual beliefs and practices function as protective barriers or safeguards that moderate the relationship between life’s stressors and an individual’s quality of life. For this reason, we have developed a spiritual program with an on-staff pastor to help patients find balance between life’s day-to-day stressors, in addition to teaching healthy ways to manage stress levels.

Spiritual programs help patients reconnect with their higher power.

Just like addiction does not discriminate based on spiritual beliefs, neither does the team at Daylight Recovery Center. We believe in accepting all spiritual beliefs, regardless of faith. We promote an environment of respect, acceptance and understanding towards all Religious beliefs. Our spiritual program primarily focuses on Christian Biblical principles, though believers of other faiths or denominations are encouraged to join and are always welcome. The program combined with recovery fellowships can strengthen one’s success in recovery because of how closely the principles align.
