How it Works
At Daylight Detox and Recovery Center, clients enrolled in our Intensive Outpatient Program report to our facility several times a week for approximately 3-4 hours a day. While not participating in treatment, clients live either at home or in a collaborative housing setting. This combination allows our clients to continue to participate in their work and family lives while they are receiving treatment. This combination also embodies an important part of any authentic recovery– the application of the skills clients learn in a real world environment.
The particulars of a given client’s IOP plan depends on their specific needs, but they typically involve both individual and group therapy sessions, in addition to an introduction to 12-Step principles and other long term support groups. Clients are also encouraged to pursue their chosen spirituals lives with renewed vigor. By blending the benefits of individual therapy, peer support, and non-compulsory forms of spirituality, Daylight IOP prepares clients for the challenges of a satisfying and sober life.
In keeping with the overall Daylight treatment philosophy, our intensive outpatient programs are designed to promote true internal change. They begin with a detailed individual assessment which forms the basis for a client’s treatment program. Our counselors and support staff take the time to get to know their clients, thus ensuring they receive a care that truly works for them.
